MUT Plugin v2 is a plugin for Torque Pro, extending the PID/Sensor list with a number specific parameters for selected Mitsubishi vehicles on the MUT protocol, including :
- Knocksum
- ECU Calculated Load
- SST Temps & Slip Rates (For Vehicles With SST Gearboxes)
*NOTE* Not all Mitsubishi Models/ECU(s) are supported, whereby PID(s) are dependent on Sensor availability and such, the plugin was tested only on the following models:
- Colt Ralliart Version-R - MUT Hybrid (v2)
- Lancer X - Mode 23 (Note CANBUS MUT is not supported)
- Lancer IX - MUT Hybrid (v2)
- Evolution X - Mode 23 & Mode 23 RAX Patch (Note CANBUS MUT is not supported)
- Evolution IX - MUT Hybrid (v2)
- Evolution VIII - MUT Hybrid (v2)
*Note For CANBUS Mode 23 / RAX Patch operational mode, do ensure that your vehicle has mode 23 or a RAX patched rom enabled as the Plugin by default was configured for Evo X Rom ID : 59590004 (With RAX Patch), configure the PIDs for your rom after installation through the Plugin Settings.
THE PLUGIN WILL NOT SUPPORT VEHICLES WHICH REQUIRE CANBUS (NON MODE 23) LOGGING, THIS PLUGIN REQUIRES THE MINIMUM OF MODE 23 TO BE ENABLED AND FLASHED ON THE ECU.
How Do I Achieve Faster Refresh Rates ?
- Enable full control via settings Toggle Adapter Full Control
- Reduce the amount of PIDs being enabled via Enable / Disable Plugin PIDs For Current Mode
Plugin Installation (For Mode 23,Hybrid MUT v2,RAX Patch)
1) After purchasing the plugin on Google Play, make sure that you see the plugin listed on your Android device installed applications list.
2) Launch Torque Pro and click on the "MUT v2" icon
3) On First Launch It Should Prompt You To Select The Mode Of Operation
4) Allow Torque Pro To Connect To The ECU
5) The PIDs should be added directly to Torque Pro
6) For Mode 23 Users, Ensure that the Mode 23 PIDs are for your rom via settings.
7) Enable / Disable The PIDs and configure their displays through the plugin as Torque will not save the added configuration data due to limitations.
8) The Plugin must be launched after Torque Pro has loaded up with the ECU connected to load up the PIDs else Torque would display the PIDs as ExtPID and would refuse to update the data.
Plugin Installation (For Legacy Hybrid MUT) **Legacy Mode Does Not Work On Torque Pro v1.8.80**
1) After purchasing the plugin on Google Play, make sure that you see the plugin listed on your Android device installed applications list.
2) Launch Torque Pro and click on the "MUT v2" icon
3) On First Launch It Should Prompt You To Select The Mode Of Operation, Select Legacy Mode
4) Go Back To Torque Pro's Main Screen And Go Into Settings And Manage Custom PIDs
5) Import The PID Set Into Torque Pro
6) Editing Of Legacy Added PIDs Are Done Through Torque.
Adding Displays
1) After adding the additional sensors, go to the Realtime Information/Dashboard. (On all modes except legacy mode, the ECU MUST BE CONNECTED BEFORE THE PIDS WILL BE SHOWN)
2) Press the menu key and then click on "Add Display"
3) Select the appropriate display type
4) Select the appropriate sensor from the list. The PID(s) added through this plugin would be in the same name of the Plugin's PID's title as the prefix with the sensor/PID name and should appear on the top of the list.
